The YieldCalcHub Editorial Team

Every calculator and guide on YieldCalcHub is produced and reviewed by the YieldCalcHub Editorial Team. This page explains who we are, how we work, and the standards we hold ourselves to.

Who We Are

The YieldCalcHub Editorial Team is the group responsible for researching, building, writing, and reviewing the tools and guides published on this site. The site is operated by GoUltra Systems LLC. Our focus is practical financial tools for creators, freelancers, online sellers, and self-employed professionals.

We are not a tax-preparation firm and we are not financial advisors. We build educational tools that show transparent math and cite the primary sources behind every number. For decisions that affect your taxes or finances, we always recommend consulting a qualified professional.

Why We Publish Under an Organizational Byline

We publish under the YieldCalcHub Editorial Team name rather than individual bylines. Rather than asking you to trust a name, we ask you to check the evidence, all of which is public: every calculator shows its formula and assumptions on the page, cites its primary sources in a per-page source table, carries a last-reviewed date, and is backed by a Calculation Validation page with exact test cases, deterministic boundary tests, formula versions, and a material-corrections log. The legal entity accountable for everything published here is GoUltra Systems LLC (Casper, WY), and every calculator links to a working contact route where errors can be reported against a specific formula version.

What We Check, by Content Type

How We Research

We build every calculator and guide from primary sources. Tax content is based directly on IRS publications, Revenue Procedures, and SSA announcements. Marketplace and fee content is based on the official published fee schedules from the platforms themselves, such as Etsy and Amazon. When an official source is available, we use it rather than relying on second-hand summaries.

How We Review

Before a calculator or guide is published, it is checked for accuracy against its primary sources, tested against worked examples, and reviewed for clarity and completeness. Each published page carries a "last reviewed" date and a "reviewed by" line identifying the Editorial Team. Tax tools are reviewed at least annually when the IRS publishes updated parameters, and fee tools are reviewed when platforms announce pricing changes.

The review evidence itself is public: exact golden cases, boundary tests, per-calculator formula versions, and the material-corrections log are published on the Calculation Validation page. When we get something wrong, the correction is logged there with a date rather than silently changed.
