Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how YieldCalcHub ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on www.yieldcalchub.com (the "Site"). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser when you visit a website. They serve various purposes including remembering your preferences, understanding how you use the site, and enabling advertising. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, and tracking pixels.
2. Cookie Categories
We organize cookies and similar technologies into the following categories:
Strictly Necessary
These are essential for the Site to function. They cannot be disabled. They include your consent preference record (stored in localStorage) and security-related cookies set by our hosting provider (Cloudflare).
Analytics
These help us understand how visitors interact with the Site by collecting information about pages visited, time on site, and usage patterns. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify individual users. Whether an analytics cookie is set depends on where you are: in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland analytics storage is denied by default and no analytics cookie is created, and everywhere else the _ga cookies described in the table below are set on your first visit. Wherever you are, you can stop the collection itself with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or your browser's cookie controls.
Advertising (Future)
The site does not currently set any advertising cookies. If display advertising is enabled in the future via third-party display advertising providers, advertising cookies would be set by those providers to serve relevant advertisements and measure ad performance. They may track your browsing activity across websites. Advertising cookies will only be set after you provide explicit consent.
3. Cookie Register
The following table lists the cookies and similar technologies used on this Site:
This register reflects cookies actively set by the site as of the date above. The site does not currently set any advertising cookies. If advertising is enabled in the future, this register will be updated to include any new cookies set by third-party display advertising providers. Details of any such cookies and how to manage them will be provided at that time.
4. Consent by Region
EEA, UK, and Switzerland: Analytics storage is denied by default for visitors in these regions. Google Analytics is loaded with Google Consent Mode set to deny analytics, advertising, functionality and personalization storage before the first measurement call, so no analytics cookie and no analytics entry in local storage is created. Google still receives a cookieless measurement signal containing the page address, the approximate region and technical information about the request, which we use only in aggregate; it does not carry an identifier that persists between visits. There is no consent banner to accept, because nothing is stored to consent to. Advertising cookies are not used at all, because the Site serves no ads. Before any advertising is enabled in these regions we will collect consent through a Google-certified consent management platform, and this section will be updated first.
United States: We provide an opt-out mechanism for advertising cookies. California residents can exercise additional rights under CCPA/CPRA through our Privacy Choices page.
All other regions: We follow the strictest applicable standard for your region. When in doubt, we default to requiring consent before setting non-essential cookies.
5. How to Manage Cookies
Site controls: There is no consent banner on the Site at the moment, because no advertising cookies are set. The controls that do work today are listed below: browser settings, the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and Global Privacy Control. A banner will appear, and this section will be updated, before any advertising cookie is set.
Browser controls: Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings. Note that blocking all cookies may affect site functionality. Browser cookie controls are supplementary to, not a replacement for, our consent mechanism.
Google ad settings: You can manage your Google ad personalization preferences at adssettings.google.com.
Google Analytics opt-out: You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Industry opt-out tools: You can opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance or the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance.
6. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy when our cookie practices change or when new legal requirements apply. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
